ABOUT ESCAPING REALITY To Summarize the Rules:
1. Be respectful, mature, and helpful to your guildmates.
2. Don't expect hand-outs. Usually, the more you help the guild... the more the guild will help you.
3. Try to be active in guild activities. We do not require any kind of attendance, but it will help everyone the more you attend.
4. Help with guild farming. For those that help farm mats.. they usually receive everything crafted for free. This inculdes epuipment, ammo, enchants, potions, spellthreads & flasks. BUT as stated, it goes both ways. If you do not help with farming, expect to pay for mats.
5. If you are given the privledge of being able to withdraw from the bank, withdraw things you are going to actually use for your toon. If you take more than you put in... the whole guild bank concept doesn't work. If you are caught taking things from the bank to make gold you WILL be kicked from the guild immediately.
6. Be respectful & mature in vent. Vent is a PAID service. Also, you never know who may be hearing your conversations in vent. Some people have their audio through their speakers... which means other people (kids) may be listening as well as who you are talking to.
7. If you have a problem or issue that is game or guild related,
please feel free to talk to one of the officers. We will work hard to get to the bottom of it. We will try to fix any problems or make things right.
What we are and a few guidlines we follow: Warcraft is a GAME not a JOB. We are here to have fun. Not to bark orders, fuss, fight, or act like 12 year olds. We may have disagreements, but we do not get out of line with each other. Our guild is made up of mostly adults with families, jobs, and other real life concerns. We don't want drama. If you want drama or want to start drama... go to a serious full-time raiding guild or go run with a bunch of kids.
We are looking for adult players that enjoy playing warcraft and treating it for with it is: a game.
Guild Structure GM - Guild Leader (Ehlana)
Officer - Veterans of the Guild who assist in all Guild matters.
Voyager - The Guild's core raiding team for harder raids. These people are dedicated raiders and meet the criteria below.
First of all you must have a decent attendance record and a good attitude.

Druid Tank: 40kHP, must have vent and a working mic

Some things that may be taken in consideration when promotions are given are as follows:
How much do you help other guildies?
Do you have a good attitude?
Are you mature and reliable?
How long have you been a part of the guild?
Your level.
Gear/Raiding Experience/Raiding Performance
Attitudes & Handouts We are a tight-knit group and we do not like drama, trouble-makers, or bad attitudes. We don't mind helping you out, but don't come to the guild with drama or asking for handouts. We expect our members to try to help themselves first. Everyone needs help from time to time, but you shouldn't need a constant babysitter or provider. Also, here's an amazing concept: if you help others... others will help you! Some of our playing/gear levels may be varied. We don't mind helping with gear. Keep in mind though that you can get pretty decent gear from quests and/or crafting. If you need help deciding what to get, or where to get it just ask!
Raiding We plan to raid a few times a week. Currently we have 2 ICC10 raid teams. One raids Sunday mornings & Monday night while the other raids Wednesday night & Thursday night. Frost runs are done on Tuesdays & Sundays. Achievement/Old World runs are usually set on Fridays & Saturdays.
Almost always, (except for the Sunday morning raids) we start our raids at 8-8:30 and end at 10:30-11pm EST (server time). Occasionally, a few guild runs may be ran during the day on weekdays or weekends. 95% of raids are ran at night between 8-11 server time. We do not have mandatory log times. To keep it fair for everyone... when we do raid we do not use point systems. We roll for our gear while keeping other players in consideration. We try to spread the loots around as much as possible. All guildies are encouraged to post events & runs up on the in-game calendar.
Loot No point systems. Loot is decided by rolling in-game 100 sided dice.
Roll 1 - Main Spec
Roll 2 - Offspec/Rerolls
If no one wants it - it goes to enchanters.
If you've won 1 roll, please wait for the second roll. This lets the loot be evenly distributed for the other people raiding. Also... if your on an alt... especially if you don't play it much... be considerate to others if they are on their main toon. Just think about stuff and be considerate.
Gear If you will be raiding, you will need to have decent gear. The better your skills/stats, the more runs you will be able to survive and pull your own weight. We will help with gear, but expect you to also help yourself. If you need suggesstions for your gear we will help you with that as well. There will be raids that we know we will need strong players. Things like ICC, OS with 3 drakes up, Onyxia... the players may be brought in or invited by rank, abilities, and/or gearscore. We will shy away from this when possible... but there will be some runs where we will need to do this type of thing.
Add-Ons We do not require add-ons but we strongly suggest these add-ons to have for raiding:
Deadly Boss Mods
Omen
Pallypower (for Paladins)
Recount
Some other good add-ons to have are:
Healbot (for healers)
Xpearl
Guild Bank (Please Read Carefully) Our guild currently has the maximum amount of bank tabs (six). The pages you can withdraw from and the amount you can take depends on your rank. Ehlana has the last word on giving members promotions and access to our bank. If you DO have access to the bank, use the items for for their use... and use them on YOUR toon. Try to put in things that people are going to use (high level/level 80 items... or atleast lvl 70+). Please do not junk up the bank with low level crap that no one is going to use. Try to put in more than you take out. (That's the whole guild bank concept, right?) Do not take items to put on the auction house to line your own pockets with gold. If your withdrawals are questionable you may be asked why you took what you did. If you are found taking from the guild bank to gain for your own personal profits... you will be kicked out of the guild immediately. Everyone (with the exception of one person) that has ever been kicked from the guild is due to players being dishonest with the bank rules. It's very important to us.
Remember that.
Another good idea is to go to the online blizzard store and buy an authenticator for your account. We have seen many people get hacked... and when you get hacked... the entire Guild gets hacked. Its a
very negative situation... for EVERYONE. An authenticator can prevent all this from happening. You can go to blizzard.com and follow the links. Right now the retail price on one is $6.50. It's very cheap and it can prevent a LOT of headaches.
Useful things you can donate to the Guild Bank: enchanting mats, epic gems (both cut & uncut), herbs (especially Frost Lotus, Lichbloom, Deadnettle, Goldclover & Icethorn), frostweave cloth, spellthreads, titansteel, titanium, belt buckles, eternals, mana potions, healing potions, raid flasks (Stoneblood, Rage, Frostwyrm, Mojo), and crafted epic pieces... anything from item level 232 and up, even unused or unwanted recipes/plans/patterns/schematics... and if you cant do any of those you can always help with gold. Gold is used to buy things for the guild. This may include mats to finish a pattern, buying patterns that will be heavily used by guildies, vials for potions/flasks, patterns/recipes, flasks, assets for the guild etc etc.
Professions/Crafters/Farmers We have lots of very helpful players in this Guild. One major way you can contribute is by farming or helping with the Guild bank. Officers check the bank log several times a day. We see who is contributing and who isn't. If your new to the Guild and your helping with this... it shows that your willing to be a team player... which is one of things we're looking for. It may also help you with rank.
Flasks will be given out in raids. All flasks are free. We have helpful guildies that go out and farm herbs for flasks. If you can help farming please do so. Our Guild goes through herbs like there is no tomorrow. The more people we have picking herbs, the better it will be for the Guild as a whole. It all comes back to you one way or another. Which herbs you may ask? Frost Lotus, Lichbloom, Deadnettle, Goldclover, Icethorn, Crystalized Life for starters.
There is a current list of people and their maxxed professions in the guild forums and also on wow-heroes.com. We have atleast one in each profession. You can access guild forums (as well as other forums) once you become guilded with us. We try to keep
everything crafted completely free for guildies. (especially those who dontate helpful things to the Guild Bank)
Web Site All guild members have access to most forums on the web site. YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER WITH THE SITE USING YOUR IN-GAME NAME. Once you do that you will automatically have access to several forums. If you have problems with the site, please contact Feawen. He is in charge of the site.
Ventrilo We do have ventrilo. We ask that you be respectful on ventrilo. Use common sense and common manners. Try to keep your language and subject matter clean. Occasional profanity is tolerated, but keep in mind there could possibly be kids in vent. Also someone may be hearing what is said in vent other than the people IN vent. Remember, this is a family-oriented guild. Husbands and wives, as well as their kids are in the guild. Ventrilo is provided by Avenna and is there for you to use. Most runs are started or put together by players on vent. Not saying if your not on vent you will not get to run, but your chances will be better. Avenna also accepts donations. Please get with Ehlana or one of the officers if you are interested in helping out with payments.
If you need info on anything feel free to ask the guild members below:
